Marketing Magic: Boosting Engagement 4x
At DeviantArt, I spearheaded email marketing, leading a team and orchestrating over 400 campaigns annually. This involved everything from crafting fresh email templates and a monthly newsletter to building out lifecycle messaging programs (think welcome series, abandoned cart reminders, and win-back campaigns). A key win was the segmentation strategy I implemented, which factored in both site engagement and email responses. The result? Open and click-through rates quadrupled. Beyond campaign execution, I also spearheaded an email RFP that slashed send costs (45% for transactional emails, 10% for marketing emails—talk about efficiency). And to round things out, I established new user acquisition points on Facebook and key areas of the DeviantArt site itself.
